Linda Madden

I came to Colorado College in 1997 to crown a varied and mobile career in education, including elementary and secondary classroom teaching, curriculum development and higher education administration. I hold degrees from Drake University and Troy University. As a military wife, my highest priority for 30 years was to provide continuity and stability in the lives of my three children. Now grandmother of six, I delight to continue my role as care giver by providing continuity and stability to the people and programs of the Chaplains’ Office and Shove Chapel. Vocal music performance is my avocation and I’m pleased to have been a singing and governing member of the Colorado Springs Choral Society (The Chorale) since 1990 and an ensemble member of the Opera Theater of the Rockies. I’m active in several ministries at First Presbyterian Church. Travel, gardening, poetry writing, many forms of needle art, Yoga practice and spending time in the mountains with my beloved dog Sydney add interest and fun to my life.
